Joint Submission to the UN Human Rights Committee on the follow-up procedure concerning views on individual communications

While thousands of people around the world bring allegations of human rights violations to the UN Human Rights Committee each year, the implementation of the Committee’s findings on individual cases remains extremely low. REDRESS, the Centre for Civil and Political Rights, Trial International, and the Human Rights Implementation Centre have made a joint submission to the UN Human Rights Committee to outline a series of recommendations to strengthen the follow-up procedure concerning the implementation of the Committee’s findings on individual cases.
