REDRESS is a human rights charity based in London that works internationally to combat torture by seeking justice and reparation for torture survivors.
REDRESS’ vision is a world without torture, where all torture survivors obtain the justice they deserve for the harm they suffered.
REDRESS was founded in 1992 by Keith Carmichael, a British citizen who sought justice for the torture and ill-treatment that he endured while arbitrarily detained in Saudi Arabia from November 1981 until March 1984.
